A true Rangers legend and a cornerstone of the historic Nine-in-a-Row era, Ian Ferguson enjoyed an incredible career at Ibrox spanning more than a decade.

Ferguson joined his boyhood heroes from St Mirren in 1988 and went on to make more than 330 competitive appearances for Rangers, becoming renowned for his fierce competitiveness, tremendous energy and ability to produce important goals from midfield.

His trophy haul speaks for itself. During his Rangers career, Ferguson won an extraordinary 10 Scottish League titles, three Scottish Cups and five League Cups, and was part of every Rangers side that secured the legendary Nine-in-a-Row between 1988/89 and 1996/97.

Among his memorable moments were a goal in the 1988 League Cup Final victory over Aberdeen and another in Rangers' famous 4–1 Old Firm victory over Celtic during his first full season at Ibrox.

A Rangers Hall of Fame inductee and nine-time Scotland international, Ferguson later made Australia his home, continuing his playing and coaching career here after leaving Scottish football.
